It says your style is flamboyant or that it’s laid-back. I realize one would have to look inside to find the answer but thought I would ask first before going any further.A guitar’s look is a major part of the statement that guitarists make to the world about themselves. Is it possible it came from Fender this way (since it is a 2002)? I suspect someone just switched the body or added the neck plate and tremelo to the original body. All the research I have done indicates a 6 screw tremelo and an blank neck plate for both small and large headstock versions. They further stated that sometimes they came from Fender that way. I asked the store if the neck and body were from the same guitar and they told me yes.

Two potential issue I have is that I noticed the tremelo was a two point instead of the 6 screw vintage type and the neck plate was not blank (looked like the American Standard). The guitar appeared to have been well cared for with just a few scratches and clean looking frets. While shopping for a used American made Stratocaster I visited a local store and found what was represented to be a 2002 Highway one (black or very dark brown in color).
